A Malaysian construction firm has landed another major contract, continuing its recent streak of project wins. Advancecon Infra, a subsidiary of Advancecon Holdings, secured a RM68.5 million earthworks deal from Sime Darby Property for development in Gombak, Selangor.
The agreement covers infrastructure preparation for Stage 1 of the Lagong Mas project, with work scheduled to begin in mid-2025. This follows closely on the heels of another contract awarded to the company for the Gerbil data center project under Gamuda Bhd.
Sime Darby Property, the developer behind the initiative, is a well-established player in Malaysia’s real estate sector. The earthworks phase is expected to last approximately 18 months, concluding by late 2026.
With back-to-back contract wins, Advancecon demonstrates its growing presence in Malaysia’s construction industry. The company’s ability to secure high-value projects highlights its competitive positioning in infrastructure development.
