A new era of sustainable urban connectivity has begun in Subang Jaya as Avaland officially commenced construction on a major infrastructure project. The developer broke ground on a 300-meter covered walkway and pedestrian bridge that will directly link its Avenue25 development to the USJ21 LRT station, marking a significant step toward improved public transport accessibility.

The innovative mixed-use development spans 13 acres near Subang CBD, blending modern living with environmental consciousness. Designed as a vertical green village, Avenue25 incorporates over 1,000 native trees, EV charging stations, and eco-friendly amenities while targeting GreenRE Gold certification. The project’s Central Green Spine and Green Shoulders create natural pathways that encourage community interaction and active lifestyles within lush surroundings.

Avaland’s leadership emphasized the project’s broader vision during the ceremony. “This infrastructure represents our commitment to building resilient, connected communities,” stated Chief Operating Officer Aw Sei Cheh. The development also includes plans for a 100,000 sq ft Green Oasis Retail Village and follows the successful launch of Alora Residences, with Phase 2 now unveiled. The company’s strong market performance, including a 53% sales increase to RM894.2 million in 2024, underscores the growing demand for such integrated developments.

Local officials praised the initiative as aligning with Selangor’s smart mobility goals under the First Selangor Plan. “Improved first-mile and last-mile connectivity reduces congestion and emissions while enhancing quality of life,” noted Kinrara assemblyman Ng Sze Han. With four major developments set for completion this year and a robust RM11.1 billion landbank, Avaland continues to shape Malaysia’s property landscape through sustainable, community-focused projects that balance ecological integrity with urban convenience.
