PropertyGuru’s Malaysia country manager Kenneth Soh highlighted the nation’s accelerating urbanization, projected to reach 82% by 2030. He stressed the industry’s responsibility to meet evolving homebuyer expectations through proptech solutions while addressing affordability and environmental concerns. The awards also recognized standout projects like Quayside JBCC for design excellence, Horizon Hills for township development, and The MET Corporate Towers as Malaysia’s premier commercial space. These winners now advance to compete at December’s regional finals in Bangkok.
The People’s Choice Awards revealed voter preferences, with industry giants like Mah Sing Group, Sime Darby Property, and Tropicana Corporation among the top 10 most admired developers.
