EcoWorld Development Group is redefining urban living with its latest venture, Majestic Labs, a dynamic retail and community hub set to energize the Eco Majestic township in Semenyih. Slated for a soft launch in September 2025, this RM65 million project spans 3.6 acres and boasts a 110,000 sq ft net lettable area, already securing a 70% occupancy rate with a diverse lineup of tenants. From fitness centers like Believe Fitness to dining favorites such as Nando’s and myBurgerLab, the space is designed to foster connection and convenience for the growing Southern Klang Valley population.

The project marks the evolution of EcoWorld’s “Labs” concept, first introduced in 2017 with Ardence Labs in Shah Alam. Deputy CEO Liew Tian Xiong emphasized that Majestic Labs represents more than just commerce—it’s a curated environment for creativity and community engagement. “This isn’t just about retail; it’s about crafting destinations where people can thrive even before residential units are completed,” Liew explained during the tenant unveiling. The hub’s strategic location near the LEKAS-Eco Majestic Interchange ensures accessibility, catering to the expanding Semenyih-Beranang corridor.

Backed by research from EdgeProp Malaysia, the development aligns with the region’s rapid growth. Alvin Ong, EdgeProp’s managing director, highlighted Hulu Langat’s 8% population surge since 2020, outpacing Selangor’s overall growth. “Semenyih is attracting higher-income residents, with property transactions above RM800,000 jumping 50% since 2019,” Ong noted. By 2035, the area’s population is projected to double, underscoring the demand for integrated lifestyle hubs like Majestic Labs.

EcoWorld’s divisional general manager, Evon Yap, credited the project’s success to data-driven planning and long-term vision. “Our collaboration with EdgeProp ensured every decision, from tenant selection to infrastructure, was informed by market trends,” Yap said. As Majestic Labs prepares to open its doors, it stands as a testament to EcoWorld’s commitment to placemaking—transforming townships into vibrant, interconnected communities.
