Gagasan Nadi Cergas Bhd has delivered an impressive financial turnaround, with its latest quarterly earnings nearly doubling compared to the previous year. The Malaysian property developer posted a net profit of RM5.2 million for Q1 2025, a remarkable 93% jump from RM2.7 million in the same period last year, signaling its most profitable quarter since 2022.
This financial upswing stems primarily from the company’s thriving affordable housing projects, including Idaman Bukit Jelutong and Idaman Kwasa Damansara, which have seen exceptional buyer interest. Revenue figures mirrored this success, skyrocketing to RM94.4 million from RM47.2 million year-over-year as construction milestones were achieved ahead of schedule.
Datuk Seri Wan Azman Wan Kamal, the Group Managing Director, attributes this performance to strategic business integration and efficient value engineering. He emphasized that the company’s alignment with national housing policies and market needs has created sustainable momentum in their property development arm.
Looking ahead, company leadership remains bullish about maintaining this upward trend. With government support for affordable housing and continued strong demand, Gagasan Nadi Cergas anticipates further growth opportunities in Malaysia’s property sector throughout 2025.
