The strategic partnership will expand the tech ecosystem at Elmina Business Park, reinforcing Selangor&#8217;s position as the nation&#8217;s premier digital hub.<\/p>\n<p>The new facilities will occupy a 77-acre plot adjacent to Pearl Computing&#8217;s existing data center project, currently slated for completion in 2026. Designed to meet stringent technical specifications, these state-of-the-art facilities will enhance the industrial township&#8217;s appeal to global tech firms. Elmina Business Park&#8217;s strategic location and robust infrastructure have already made it a magnet for technology-driven enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, construction is expected to wrap up by 2027, followed by a 20-year lease worth up to MYR 5.6 billion. The deal includes renewal options, ensuring long-term revenue stability for Sime Darby Property. This move aligns with the company&#8217;s SHIFT25 strategy, which focuses on growing recurring income and expanding its investment portfolio in high-value assets.<\/p>\n<p>Azmir Merican, Group Managing Director of Sime Darby Property, emphasized that this collaboration underscores the company&#8217;s capability to deliver mission-critical digital infrastructure. &#8220;These data centers will not only support Malaysia&#8217;s digital economy but also elevate Selangor&#8217;s status as a preferred destination for global tech investments,&#8221; he noted.
